Olawepo-Hashim Visits Katsina, Extols Kurfi’s Virtues

Olawepo-Hashim Visits Katsina

Frontline politician, businessman and former presidential candidate, Dr Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has extolled the virtues of the late elder statesman and frontline First Republic political leader, Alhaji Ahmadi Kurfi.

Received at the family house in Katsina by a former national secretary of the PDP,  Senator   Umaru Ibrahim  Tsauri  and a son of the late Kurfi who is also PDP state chairman and other elders in  Katsina, Olwaepo-Hashim said the late elder statesman bequeathed a legacy of integrity to the nation.

“Baba was straight-forward. You knew where he stood. He was always a lover of Nigeria’s unity,” the ex-presidential candidate added.

He was accompanied on the visit by the Kebbi State PDP chairman,  Alhaji Usman Bello Suru, former deputy mayor and chairman  Abaji  Area Council, Alhaji Abubakar Abaji, chapter chairman, APC Gwagwalada Area Council, Hon. Ahmed Baba and Alhaji Aminu Bala.

The delegation also prayed for the family and the unity and stability of Nigeria.
