Kano Speaker Celebrates Governor Yusuf At 62

The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Jibril Ismail Falgore, described Governor Abba Yusuf as a courageous and exemplary leader.

Governor Yusuf is celebrating his 62nd birthday.

In a statement on Sunday, the speaker’s spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Shawai, quoted the Speaker as having described the Governor as a courageous leader who has not been distracted from serving the good people of the State despite a series of legal and political challenges within and outside the state.

“As a man of dignity and honour, you have shown an unwavering commitment to the overall development of Kano State since you became the Governor.

“The people have witnessed unprecedented achievements in both physical and human capital development, especially in the areas of education, provision of healthcare services, agriculture, women/youth employment and empowerment, as well as the provision of critical infrastructure across the state,” the statement noted.

While praying to Allah to continue enriching and strengthening the governor, Falgore reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to supporting him and the present administration in elevating the State to greater heights.
