An investment real estate firm, Deedee Realty and Investments Limited has allocated register survey and deed of assignment to institutional investors of the Sankofa City Estate Project in Epe corridors area of Lagos State.

This, it said, was in a bid to bridge the housing deficit gap and promote affordable investment in real estate in Nigeria.

Its executive director, Sunny Dada who was represented by the managing director of DeeDee Realty and Investment Ltd, Bukola Bababunmi applauded the efforts of investors to bridging housing deficit in the country while stressing that, the Sankofa City Estate project, which is one of the latest housing investment scheme in Epe corridor, will reflate the economy of Lagos free Trade Zone, (LFZ) Ikorodu, Imota, Epe, Sagamu and Dangote Refinery axis.

She cited that the Sankofa City housing scheme will provide both residential and agricultural acquisitions to investors to enable them make informed decisions and minimize risk of losing their investment chances.

She said, “in our investment efforts with the Sankofa City Estate Project, we aim to provide residential real estate that helps investors to maximize returns, spread payment while aligning their housing plans with their financial goals.”

She affirmed that Sankofa City Estate Project will drive more investment opportunities into Lekki, Ikorodu, Epe corridors, adding that, the smooth allocation of documents to investors is a proof that the real estate firm is committed to drive transparent transactions of allocation and regularization to the client’s who purchased the lands.

She noted that the Sankofa Farm City Estate project is 30 per cent farmland and 70 per cent residential while stressing that the allocation of documents has been allocated following the regularisation.

She alluded that farm estates with agriculture activities have been regularised and converted for both farms and residential activities and this comes with a general Certificate of Occupancy that covers the whole estate project.

Speaking on real estate challenges in Lekki-Epe corridors, she said, the Lagos state government recently embarked on the payment of fence permits, and other permits based issues on gate and fences around the real estate corridors in Lekki-Epe axis which she said had made it difficult for realtors to erect fences and gates without having the permits.

Also speaking, one of the estate allottees, Capt. Ebenezer Adebiyi said, plans and expectations are forthcoming for him to start developing his land adding that the project is a meeting point for investors to drive in cheap and affordable housing homes despite the currency fluctuations and volatile market in the country.
