Sani Bello Empowers 177 Women, Youths

The senator representing Niger North and former Governor of Niger State  Senator Abubakar Sani Bello has distributed starter packs to empower 177 trained beneficiaries of Skills Acquisition Programme .

The senator made the presentation to the participants across the eight local government areas of  Niger North in Kontagora local government area of Niger State. He said it was aimed at empowering the beneficiaries to be economically self reliant.

Senator Sani Bello reiterated his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents by promoting productivity as part of a broader strategy in fostering financial independence and sustainable development.

He also reaffirmed his determination to deliver the dividends of democracy through impactful projects aimed at addressing critical challenges in the  constituency.

According to him “These projects are a testament to my resolve to uplift the living standards of the people in  Niger North , they are not isolated efforts but part of a sustainable development framework that aligns with federal government policies to bridge infrastructural gaps and drive economic growth,”

The projects and skills acquired include; essential infrastructure upgrades, skill acquisition programmes like tailoring, hair salon, carpentry, painting, catering and  poultry

The representative of the beneficiaries of the programme Mohammed Yusuf expressed optimism that they would  make use of  the opportunities provided by the Senator to help the constituents.
