Two projects made up of a culvert and drainage constructed by a philanthropist, Alhaji Bako Ya’u, were commissioned on Monday by the vice chairman, Karu, local government at Rugar Juli, under Maraba, Karu, local government area of Nasarawa State.
In his speech before the commissioning, the chairman of Rugar Juli Development Association, Alhaji Aliyu Ahmed Janyau, who also serves as chairman of the Hausa /Fulani people’s association, said the place consisted of residents of different calibers, made up of businessmen, workers, and excreta, who stayed in peace and harmony with one another.
Chairman of Marabar Gurku People’s Development Association Alhaji Aliyu Musa Turaki Tafidan Gurku, who is also a member of Nasarawa State Pilgrims welfare board, was of the opinion that whatever someone wants to do, he or she should stick to the truth.
Alhaji Abubakar Na Abba praised the works executed by Alhaji Bako Ya’u.
In his reaction shortly after the commissioning, the vice chairman of Karu local government, Hon Ibrahim Bulus, who represented the chairman, Barrister Abubakar Aliyu Madaki, was happy about how the Rugar Juli community is helping itself and promised that the local government would do something about their flight.
