Dickson stated this while speaking on the topic: “The Impact of Governance Policies on Economic  Development in Nigeria: Challenges and Sustainability”  during the 11th convocation lecture for courses 29 and 30 graduands of the Nigerian Collage of Accountancy, Kwall near Jos.

Dickson who was represented by Prof Sunday Mlanga, the director, Academics at ANAN University, said this irresponsibility on the part of leaders had led to many social unrests and constant calls for restructuring and total overhaul of the entire architecture  of the Nigerian governing system.
