Junior Chamber International (JCI) Aso has marked a major milestone with its 25th anniversary celebration, unveiling an ambitious 2025 vision centered on impactful leadership and community development.

The event, held in Abuja, brought together members, alumni, and stakeholders to reflect on the organization’s legacy of excellence and its renewed commitment to empowering young leaders to drive positive change.

The 25th President of JCI Aso, JCIN Ambassador Felix Akinyemi outlined the organization’s 2025 agenda during a media parley held alongside the January General Assembly and Business Meeting.

Speaking on the year’s theme, “Inspiring Change,” Akinyemi described it as a call to action for members to lead with vision, act with purpose, and foster partnerships.

“This year is not just another chapter in our story—it is the beginning of a transformative era for JCI Aso. Our actions today must prepare JCI Aso for tomorrow, as we celebrate 25 years of leadership, service, and impactful contributions to our community,” he said.

As part of the 2025 agenda, the president announced the launch of the JCI Aso Training Institute, which will focus on equipping members with key skills such as leadership, communication, project management, and graphic design.

He highlighted the importance of creativity and technology in driving innovative community projects.

“No one achieves greatness alone. We will continue to build partnerships within JCI and with external organizations to amplify our collective impact. Diversity remains our strength, and every member’s voice matters in shaping our future,”Akinyemi added.

JCI Aso’s 2025 Vice President, JCIN Ambassador Queen Chidinma Agbajah emphasized the need for targeted initiatives to empower members.

“This year, we are introducing the Membership Development Summit, focusing on soft skills training that benefits not just members but also outsiders who can tap into these opportunities.

“The JCI Training Institute will enable us to meet members’ personal and professional development needs while modernizing project strategies to address current realities,” she said.

JCI Senator Adeboye Morakinyo, a senior leader in the organization, underscored the importance of effective communication and stakeholder engagement in achieving JCI Aso’s goals.

“Information must reach the right people at the right time. We are committed to ensuring that all stakeholders are involved and that every category of membership feels valued in this administration,” he said.

As JCI Aso commemorates 25 years of service and leadership, the organization has reaffirmed its dedication to its core values of integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
