Gov Buni Appoints Degubi As Focal Person For Yobe Christian Pilgrims Welfare

Yobe State governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of Emmanuel Ayuba Degubi as the Focal Person for Christian Pilgrims Welfare in the State.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Baba Malam Wali, which was made available to LEADERSHIP in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.

According to the statement, Degubi’s “appointment into this exalted office is predicted on your past records of performance, dedication and commitments towards the development of the state.

“It is, therefore, hoped that you will strive hard to justify the confidence reposed in you by this appointment.”

While, congratulating the new focal person for Christian Pilgrimage, the State’s Commissioner for Religious Affairs and Ethnic Re-oreintation, Alhaji Yusuf Umar Potiskum, urged him to work diligently for sound execution of the Buni administration’s policies and programmes.

In his reaction, the new focal person, Emmanuel Degubi, commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for his appointment.

He called on the Christian faithful in the State to continue giving their support and maximum cooperation to the governor.
