BREAKING: Bandits Attack Katsina Community, Kidnap Ex-NYSC DG Brig-Gen Tsiga, Others

In a shocking development, bandits have attacked Tsiga community in Bakori local government area of Katsina State and kidnapped several residents, including a former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga (rtd).

The attack occurred in the early hours of Thursday, precisely around 12:30am when armed assailants stormed the community, causing panic and chaos among residents.

People familiar with the development said concerned authorities have been alerted, and security forces were working to secure the release of the hostages.

Details about the other victims of the attack remained unclear at press time as the situation was rapidly unfolding.
