Ahmed made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House, Yola.
In his response, Governor Fintiri expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of corps members throughout their mandatory one-year service.

He described the request for a utility vehicle to aid the monitoring of corps members as genuine and assured that the government would address the matter.

The NYSC DG acknowledged the Governor’s efforts, particularly the recent upward review of corps members’ allowances, which he noted would encourage them to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development.

Brigadier-General Ahmed highlighted that his visit was part of his nationwide tour for the 2024 Batch C Stream 2 Orientation Course.
