During his retirement thanksgiving service in Abuja, Adeoye expressed gratitude for his long career and reflected on his journey from a classroom teacher to a top-ranking civil servant.

“I thank God and the federal government for giving me the opportunity to reach the peak of my career. Service to humanity is a lifelong mission, whether in public office or not,” he stated passionately.
Adeoye emphasized his commitment to mentoring young officers and contributing to national development.

“Retirement doesn’t mean inactivity. I will continue to support and mentor upcoming officers to help them excel,” he assured.

He also expressed optimism about Nigeria’s transportation sector, highlighting key projects such as the Kaduna-Kano rail line and the proposed Lagos-Abuja speed train.

“The future of Nigerian transportation is very promising. With private sector investments and ongoing projects under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I can assure you the outlook is fantastic,” Adeoye said confidently.

Adeoye’s wife, Elizabeth Adeoye, shared insights on her role in supporting his career.

“Before we got married, I was determined to make our marriage work and support my husband. God made him my head, and I always prioritized his progress,” she remarked.

Describing her husband as a man of integrity and dedication, Elizabeth noted that these qualities earned him respect both at work and home.

Stella Oluwosomi, Elizabeth’s elder sister, praised Adeoye’s resilience and faith.

“He started as a classroom teacher and never took his job lightly. God lifted him from the grassroots to the peak of the civil service,” she said, highlighting his inspiring journey.

As Adeoye transitions into retirement, he remains optimistic about future opportunities to serve Nigeria.

“I believe there are still many appointments waiting for him, whether national or international,” Oluwosomi predicted.

She urged young Nigerians to embrace hard work and diligence.

“Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might. You never know when God will reward you,” she advised.

Adeoye’s journey stands as a testament to the power of dedication, faith, and service, inspiring future generations in public service.
