Ugochinyere noted that with the confidence reposed in the duo of Abbas and Kalu, lawmakers were always giving their support to policies of the President Bola Tinubu-led federal government, usually via the instruments of executive bills and requests routed through them.

“The confidence of lawmakers in the leadership of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu have being responsible for the approval of many federal government policies either conveyed through executive bills or requests.

“Because both the duo of Speaker Abbas and Deputy Speaker have proved to us beyond reasonable doubt that they were selfless leaders representing the interests of not only lawmaker but the generality of Nigerians we are representing, we always support them in ensuring that federal government policies they presented see the light of the day.
