The group’s leader, Ambassador Abdul Dan Bature, described the appointment as a recognition of Dr. Turaki’s leadership capabilities and commitment to national progress.

Bature noted that the decision aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, which seeks to promote economic prosperity, social inclusion, and infrastructural development across Nigeria.

“Dr. Turaki is a seasoned financial expert and administrator who has held key leadership roles in both public and private sectors. We are confident that he will use his wealth of experience to drive growth and progress in the North-West region,” the statement read.

Similarly, Comrade Saheed Akanmu, convener of The Progressive Intellects (TPI), called on Dr. Turaki to actively engage young professionals in carrying out his duties at the NWDC.
