Meanwhile, the Kaduna Doka Development Association has petitioned Governor Senator Una Sani and appealed for Justice in the Murder of the late Musa.

The letter, which the chairman of the Association signed, Sani Rabiu Bako, reads in parts, “We, the members of the Kaduna Doka Development Association, write to you with profound sorrow and an urgent plea for justice following the tragic and senseless murder of  Ahmed Musa, the son of one of our esteemed members Alhaji Musa, at Technical School Malali.

“This heinous act has not only devastated the victim’s family but has also profoundly affected our entire community. On 16th February 2025, Ahmed Musa of Technical School Malali was brutally murdered under circumstances that remain unclear but have left his family and friends in shock and disbelief.

“The loss of such a promising young life is a tragedy that no family should have to endure, and we are compelled to seek your intervention to ensure that those responsible for this crime are brought to justice”.

The Chairman said, “Our association has always worked tirelessly to promote peace, unity, and development within our community. We have strived to create a safe environment for all our members and their families. However, the recent events have shaken our faith in the safety of our surroundings.

“We believe that swift action from your office can restore confidence in the justice system and send a strong message that such acts of violence will not be tolerated.

“We kindly request Your Excellency to direct the relevant authorities to thoroughly investigate this case and ensure that the perpetrators are apprehended and brought to justice. We would like to urge you to prioritise the safety and security of our citizens, especially in educational institutions where young lives should be nurtured and protected.

“In addition to the immediate need for justice, we also request that measures be put in place to prevent similar incidents in the future. Increased security presence, improved surveillance, and enhanced community policing can go a long way in ensuring the safety of our children and youth.

“We understand that the government faces numerous challenges, but we are confident that with your leadership and commitment to public safety, this matter can be resolved swiftly and effectively. We hope you will take the necessary steps to address this issue and comfort the bereaved family”.

Meanwhile, the remains of the deceased, according to the father, have been laid to rest according to Islamic rites.

When our Correspondent put a call through to the Principal of the school whose name was Mr Zayaco, his phone did not connect; another call was put across to the phone number of the Vice Principal of the school, Mr Godfrey Francis; it rang several but failed to pick and did not return the missed calls as at the time of filing the report.

Similarly, when the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO)of Kaduna Command DSP Mansir Hassan was called, his phone number was also unreachable when filing the report.
