The managing director and chief executive officer of T Pumpy Concept, Akintayo Adaralegbe, has said the company’s mega city project will create jobs, drive economic growth, and provide affordable housing for thousands of Nigerians in Abuja.
Adaralegbe disclosed this during a media briefing on Tuesday in Abuja, describing the mega-city, set to be unveiled in March in Nigeria‘s capital, as a luxury hub that will improve global connectivity.
He guaranteed that, as part of its effort to support the federal and state governments in tackling Nigeria’s housing deficit, the mega city would be affordable for most Nigerians and offer a flexible payment plan.
He said, “Set to be officially unveiled in March, the TPumpy mega city promises to reshape Abuja’s urban landscape and address some of the city’s most pressing issues, such as the housing deficit and high unemployment rates.
“The megacity is more than just a residential and commercial development. It is envisioned as a luxury hub to enhance global connectivity and create a vibrant, prosperous community.

„This development is designed not only to provide much-needed housing for Nigerians but to catalyse economic growth and job creation. It is a crucial project that will contribute significantly to the development of Abuja and the nation.

„The TPumpy mega city is set to create numerous job opportunities in various sectors, from construction to operations, retail, and other industries. This large-scale development will require a substantial workforce, employing thousands of skilled and unskilled workers during its construction and operational phases.

„Given the high unemployment rates in Nigeria, especially among youth, creating jobs through this project is critical. The project will offer long-term career prospects, helping to reduce unemployment and provide pathways for professional growth.

„As the megacity becomes operational, it will also attract a wide range of businesses, further expanding the job market and stimulating economic activity in the region. The project is expected to be a magnet for local and international investors, bringing much-needed investment into Abuja and Nigeria.

„This influx of investment will significantly boost the economy, generating revenue and creating even more opportunities for entrepreneurship and business development. The TPumpy mega-city will, therefore, serve as a key driver of economic growth, benefiting the residents and the entire country.

„Addressing the housing crisis in Nigeria is another key objective of the TPumpy mega city. With a rapidly growing population, especially in urban areas such as Abuja, the need for affordable housing has never been greater. The TPumpy mega city project will provide thousands of Nigerians access to quality, affordable homes, making homeownership a reality for many who might otherwise struggle to afford traditional housing options. The development is designed to cater to various income levels, ensuring a diverse demographic can benefit from the project.
