Chef Jayne Set To Feed 5,000 At Abuja Food Festival

An Abuja based chef, Chef Jayne is set to feed over 5,000 persons in her groundbreaking culinary event, termed “Chef Jayne’s Cookathon Fest”.

The event which is opened to everyone in Abuja, will commence on Thursday and end on Friday.

Speaking at a pre-event press briefing in Abuja on Monday, Chef Jayne said the event will showcase over 70 different meals from various parts of the country and some African meals, featuring Nigeria’s unique flavors and traditions.

According to Chef Jayne, “Our goal is to preserve Nigeria’s cultural heritage and promote community engagement through the universal language of food.

This event offers a unique opportunity for sponsors and partners to enhance their brand visibility while supporting a culturally significant initiative. With an expected publicity audience of 500,000 to five million, Chef Jayne’s Cookathon Fest is poised to make a lasting impact.

“The Chef Jayne’s Cookathon fest will celebrate Nigeria’s rich culinary heritage, with a theme: “Taste of Naija Vibes,” and aimed at showcasing and celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage through its cuisine. With over 60 recipes from various regions, attendees will be treated to a gastronomic experience that highlights the country’s unique flavours and traditions.”

When asked if the event is targets breaking any records or just for the fun of it, Chef Jayne said the aim of the event is to bring culture together and enhance connectivity among Nigerians.

On the preparation for the event, she said the police, government agencies and all relevant stakeholders have been contacted to ensure crowd control and successful event.
