In a statement signed by Prof. Fasakin, he said the journey to the historic milestone has been filled with ups and downs, but as a united people, the nation has sustained its strength in unity.

“I seize this medium to wish my fellow Nigerians, and all Staff and Students of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, a happy Independence Anniversary.

“The journey to this historic milestone has been filled with ups and downs, but it has pleased God Almighty to sustain us to this moment.

“As we celebrate this day, let’s take a moment to reflect on our past, present and future as a sovereign nation, and do away with those hindrances that have been an albatross to our national Unity, Integration and Progress.
