While commending Imo residents on the occasion of Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Anniversary, the opposition party said it reflected on the struggles for Independence in Nigeria and salutes the courage, patriotism and vision of heroes who defied colonial oppression to midwife a free nation.

ln his reaction, the commissioner for information and strategy, Hon Declan Emelumba, said the PDP is a sinking ship and should not be given credence.

According to him, the PDP governed the state in the past and have nothing to show. He advised the citizens to support the present administration, for continuous provision of dividends of democracy.
