‘Body Of Christ Don Finally Sue Me’, Verydarkman Reacts To Mercy Chinwo’s N1.1bn Lawsuit

Controversial social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly called Verydarkman (VDM) has reacted to gospel singer Mercy Chinwo’s N1.1 billion defamation suit against him.

LEADERSHIP recalls that Chinwo took legal actions against VeryDarkMan for allegedly defaming her character following his involvement in the ongoing case with her former manager Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, also called Eezee Tee.

VDM, via a video shared on his social media platforms, stated that he could not afford to pay for the damages as he sarcastically apologised to Chinwo.

“I no get money o, even the money wey dey NGO no reach like that,” he said.

VDM also listed the amounts of other lawsuits against him, including Femi Falana and Folarin Falana, N500 million; Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, N1 billion; Nedu Ani (Nedu Wazobia), N500 million; Esinjemiyotan Atsepoy (Mr Jollof’s wife), N500 million; Idris Okuneye (Bobrisky), N1 billion; and Ihuoma Julia Nneji (Daughter of ABC Transport founder).

VDM expressed that he could not pay for the damages against him if he lost the cases in court.

A clip also showed VDM singing Chinwo’s hit song, ‘Excess Love,’ pleading with the singer to reduce the compensation.

“Body of Christ done finally Sue me, I have God they have bloggers don sue. But I know this is not a case that I can go on with; I just want to tender my apology.

“Dear Mercy Chinwo, I am sorry,” VDM wrote in a caption, tagging Chinwo.
