A Christian group under the umbrella of Hausa Christian Development Initiative has commended the Jigawa State governor, Umar Namadi over his educational reforms in the state.
The group gave the commendation in a statement signed by its state coordinator, Mr Samaila Usman and made available to newsmen in Dutse, the state capital.
Usman noted that Governor Namadi’s approach to the education sector proved his passion and understanding of the power of knowledge in shaping human civilisation.
According to the statement, Governor Namadi’s unwavering commitment to the development of education will fastrack the achievement of his 12-point agenda designed to make Jigawa great.
“Governor Umar Namadi’s commitment to education reflects his profound understanding that knowledge is the foundation upon which religious and moral values are built. Without education, our religious activities cannot be practiced accurately or effectively.
“We appreciate your dedication to the advancement of Jigawa State and pray that Almighty God grant you wisdom, strength, and continued success in your leadership,” the statement said.
