Police Intensify Security Over Communal Tension In Adamawa

Police authorities in Adamawa State have deployed personnel over tension in Lamza and Kawa communities after a communal clash yesterday.

The commissioner of police,  Dankombo Morris, has directed the deputy commissioner of police, department of investigation, to embark on a detailed and comprehensive investigation into the clash.

The clash resulted in the destruction of property.

He said the commissioner was deeply saddened by the loss of property and reassured the government and people of Guyuk that justice would be served.

He directed officers deployed to immediately bring the perpetrators to book as normalcy has been restored.
