The Inter Party Advisory Council has announced strategic partnership with the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation for the production of “Unbroken: Two and a Half Decades of Uninterrupted Democracy Documentary movie”.

A statement by the national publicity secretary of IPAC, Chinyere Kalu said the national chairman of the Inter Party Advisory Council of Nigeria (IPAC), Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, has announced a partnership with the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation to produce a documentary film titled, ” Unbroken: Two and a Half Decades, a chronicle of 25 years of uninterrupted democratic governance in Nigeria.” This film will commemorate the resilience, progress, and democratic evolution of the Nigerian nation since the inception of the Fourth Republic in 1999.

In a press conference with the minister, Mohammed Idris Malagi on Friday at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja, the IPAC national chairman emphasised the significance of this project in showcasing Nigeria’s democratic journey, highlighting the pivotal role of the Council, the Ministry of Information and National Orientation, and various political stakeholders in ensuring democratic sustainability in the country.

The film will serve as a comprehensive, visually rich account of Nigeria’s uninterrupted democratic governance from 1999 to 2024. The documentary will cover key milestones, challenges, and successes that have defined Nigeria’s political landscape. It will explore the resilience of Nigeria’s democracy, from the peaceful transition of power to the ongoing consolidation of democratic values across the nation.

Through compelling drama and interviews, archival footage, and expert analyses, the documentary will delve into the political, economic and social transformations that have shaped modern Nigeria.
