This initiative follows Governor Radda’s participation at the 2025 Oxford Africa Business Forum, held at the prestigious Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where he served as a guest speaker.

The forum, themed “Africa’s Growth Trajectory: Globalization vs. Domestic Collaboration,” provided a platform for Governor Radda to present Katsina’s vast economic potential to global industry leaders and economic stakeholders.

In his keynote address, Governor Radda highlighted Katsina State’s readiness to embrace global partnerships.

“We have implemented significant policy reviews to ensure our state has the required frameworks, regulations, and refined institutions to expedite development and ease of doing business,” the Governor declared.

A notable focus of his speech was Katsina’s Climate Smart Agriculture Policy, which aims to enhance food security and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

“Our pilot program is designed to reduce the effect of climate change and climate-induced conflict on agriculture, ensuring long-term resilience,” he noted.

During a panel discussion titled “Strength in Unity: The Power of African Domestic Collaboration,” Governor Radda underscored the importance of harnessing Africa’s youthful population and technological advancements to unlock the continent’s full potential.

“Leveraging our youth and embracing technology are crucial steps toward ensuring Africa thrives in the 21st century,” he stated.

He also advocated for increased intra-African collaboration, emphasizing the need for pan-African solutions to shared challenges.

“Collaboration amongst nations is essential to addressing most of the problems plaguing our continent,” Governor Radda affirmed.

The Governor’s engagements at the forum have sparked promising discussions with foreign investors and development finance institutions to support Katsina’s agricultural, energy, and technology sectors.

Additionally, preliminary talks explored partnerships with Oxford’s Saïd Business School for executive education programs and the Blavatnik School of Government for public and civil service training efforts aimed at enhancing service delivery in Katsina State.

Governor Radda was accompanied by a distinguished delegation, including his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; Economic Adviser, Khalil Nur Khalil; Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Development Management Board, Mustapha Shehu; and Special Assistant on Power and Energy, Dr Hafiz Ibrahim Ahmed.

With these strategic partnerships on the horizon, Katsina State is positioning itself as a hub of innovation and economic growth, signalling a brighter future for its people and the broader African continent.
