Mua’zu said that operation targeted notorious terrorist enclave led by Sanusi Dutsin-Ma in the Pauwa highlands.

According to the Commissioner, the mission commenced at approximately 0900 hours, with security forces launching coordinated airstrikes on predetermined targets while ground troops advanced for offensive manoeuvres.

He added that the troops engaged terrorists in Malori and Matalawa villages, pushing them deeper into the hills.
