Their confirmation followed the presentation and adoption of the report by the Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions during plenary on Wednesday.

LEADERSHIP reports that the confirmed Non-Executive Directors include: Yusuf Tegina Sule – North-Central, Adeyemo Adeoye Stephen – South-West, Yahaya Ibrahim – North-West, Odion Charles Iyare – South-South, Emily Chidinma Osuji – South-East.

While presenting the committee’s report for consideration, Senator Osita Izunaso (APC-Imo), on behalf of the committee chairman, stated that after a thorough engagement with the nominees, the committee was satisfied with their experience, performance, and academic qualifications.
