Public relations and communications firm, CMC Connect LLP, has unveiled Crisis-X, an initiative designed to equip organisations with the strategies and tools needed for effective crisis management.
As part of the advocacy efforts, the firm also declared March as Annual Crisis Management Advocacy Month to drive comprehensive delivery of effective crisis management tools for business advisory support and post-crisis recovery for corporate brands, SMEs, public and private sector players by fostering dialogue that would address emerging crises in critical sectors.
The launch, which took place at the firm’s corporate headquarters in Lagos on Monday, March 10, marks a significant milestone in CMC Connect LLP’s 33-year journey as a leader in perception management.
CMC connect also stated that the global annual campaign was aimed at raising awareness on the importance of crisis preparedness and response.
Crisis-X serves as a comprehensive platform offering expert insights, training, and strategic guidance to help businesses anticipate, manage, and recover from crises.
The initiative covers key areas such as risk assessment, crisis communication, reputation management, and post-crisis recovery.
Speaking at the launch, managing Partner of CMC Connect LLP, Raheem Olabode emphasised the firm’s commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.

Delivering a keynote presentation on Crisis-X, Lead Partner of CMC Connect LLP, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya provided an in-depth overview of its strategic framework, highlighting the critical role of proactive crisis management in today’s dynamic business environment.
Guest speaker, who is the director of the Commonwealth Institute of Advanced Professional Studies, Prof. Anthony Kila commended the initiative, noting its significance in Nigeria and beyond.
