The Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi Vanguard 2027 (SAAN 27) has called on Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed to give Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, an automatic governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2027 governorship election.

The group cited Senator Ningi’s unwavering loyalty, patience and dedication to the party. Ningi represents Bauchi Central in the Nigerian Senate.

An automatic ticket would mean that Ningi would emerge as sole candidate of the party ahead of the PDP governorship primary election.

Addressing a press conference in Bauchi on Tuesday, the national chairman of SAAN 27, Comrade Sani Adamu, described Ningi as the most qualified and capable individual to succeed Governor Bala Mohammed in 2027.

Adamu said the decision to back Ningi followed careful consideration and extensive consultations with stakeholders across the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State.

“We can say with confidence and humility that Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi has demonstrated exceptional leadership, particularly in empowering youth and contributing to national development,” he said.
