4 Suspects Remanded In Correctional Centre Over Murder Of SS2 Student

Four suspects who are security personnel of Kaduna State vigilance service (KADVIS), have been remanded in a correctional centre over the murder of Ahmed Musa, an SS2 student of Government Technical College Malali in Kaduna North local government area of Kaduna State, who was brutally killed and his body found within the school premises.

It would be recalled that late Ahmed Musa was brutally killed on 16th February 2025; his parents are seeking redress in court.

The chief magistrate, Justice Naheed Ibrahim Abdulhamid, ordered that the four defendants be remanded in a correctional facility until the next adjourned date.

The suspects are Timothy Abba, 56, Joseph Ogoni, 41, Bulus Adamu, 42, and Francis Adamu, 48, all personnel of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVIS).

The suspects who were posted to the said school to provide security were charged before the Kabala Doki Magistrate Court, accused of criminal conspiracy and negligence, which may have led to the death of late Musa.

According to the chief magistrate, the security personnel are accused of an alleged connection to the murder case, and due to negligent conduct, they couldn‘t prevent the situation, and they could not report the incident when it occurred. The case has been adjourned till the 27th of May 2025.
