While hosting members of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), she called to an Easter Brunch at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

In her remarks, Senator Tinubu, in a statement by her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, emphasised the need for Christians to demonstrate love toward their neighbours and avoid tendencies that promote religious or ethnic prejudice.

“It takes sacrificial love and compassion to change the world. We must not judge others by their religion or origin,” she said.

The First Lady encouraged the youth to lead efforts in promoting gender equity, noting that there is ample opportunity for women to thrive in Nigeria, provided they are willing and empowered.

The National Chairman of YOWICAN, Belusochukwu Enwerem, expressed gratitude to the First Lady for her continuous support and described her interventions as inspiring.

He pledged the association’s commitment to her Renewed Hope Initiative and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agenda for peace and development.

He also announced the launch of the Renewed Hope Neighbor2Neighbor Movement, a grassroots campaign aimed at fostering interfaith unity.

Recognizing her role in championing youth empowerment and national cohesion, the First Lady was decorated as the Grand Patron of YOWICAN.

To support the evangelical and humanitarian work of the association, Senator Tinubu announced the donation of seven 14-seater CNG-powered buses to YOWICAN for nationwide outreach.

This marks the second Easter homage by the Christian youth group to the First Lady, who praised their commitment to nation-building and shared values.
