Oborevwori gave the advice in Asaba when the Organisation for the Advancement of Anioma Culture (OFAAC) celebrated its 2025 cultural day with various activities to showcase the culture of the people of Anioma nation.

The activities included cultural dances, traditional wrestling, a flute competition, and an exhibition of cultural artefacts.

Speaking on the occasion, he noted that OFAAC had remained dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Anioma culture since it was founded over two decades ago.

The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, commended the leadership of OFAAC for sustaining the annual cultural festival and urged traditional rulers to continually preach peace within their kingdoms.

Ifeadi stated that the annual cultural fiesta, which began in 2003, was focused on preserving, promoting, advancing, and developing the cultural identity of the Anioma people.

He highlighted OFAAC’s microcredit scheme, designed to provide soft loans, especially to farmers, and its annual lecture series aimed at uniting the Anioma people and fostering cultural consciousness.
