The chairman, Olojudo Coronation Central Planning Committee, Hon Sanya Okunade, disclosed this at a press conference where he unveiled the activities for the coronation of Oba Olayinka Oyetunde Jokotola, the 47th Olojudo of Ido Osun.

Okunade who expressed optimism at the take-off of work said nothing would stop work from taking off afresh on the project following the timely intervention of the federal government on Osun State government’s plan to relocate the airport.

He said the coronation is more than a celebration stressing that it is a revival of tradition, a renewal of hope and a testament of cultural pride. He added that honourary chieftaincy titles would be conferred on distinguished personalities during the ceremonies.

Hon Okunade said security measures have been put in place to ensure a hitch-free coronation ceremony at the three major segments of the event which include pre-coronation activities, coronation day ceremonies and post-coronation events.
