Ebosetale Kingsley, widely known by his stage name Comedyinaction, is making waves in Nigeria’s stand-up comedy scene with his unique ability to turn everyday situations into laughter. According to the Edo State-born comedian, real-life experiences are the foundation of his humor, which he uses not only to entertain but also to deliver powerful life lessons.

In a recent interview with LEADERSHIP Weekend, Comedyinaction shared, “I draw from personal experiences and everyday life to create relatable content. These situations shape and influence my inspiration. I’m the kind of comedian who uses real-life stories not only to make people laugh but also to share meaningful messages. You could say I’m an inspirational comedian.”

He also credited some of Nigeria’s most celebrated comedians as his inspiration to pursue comedy professionally. “Nkem Owoh, I Go Dye, Okey Bakassi, Basketmouth, and others played a big role in influencing my decision to become a stand-up comedian,” he said.

Comedyinaction began honing his craft in 2008 while studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. Reflecting on his journey, he noted, “My proudest moments are when I look back at those early days performing for small audiences, and now I stand before large crowds on some of the biggest stages in Nigeria.

I’ve also had the privilege to host my own shows, and that growth means a lot to me.

The month of May is a busy one for me, I will be in the UK, precisely,Birmingham,Manchester and Newcastle for the undiluted tour with mc edopikin and I will also be having my comedy special live in Lagos titled THIS IS ACTION my view of Lagos on Sunday May 5th, it will be my first show in Lagos.

He added that In 5years he will likely start drawing the curtain on his comedy career and venture into the educational sector in order to spread knowledge to the next generation.
