The Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO), has appointed Professor Francis Aba Uba as the substantive Vice Chancellor of Nigeria’s premier university of health sciences.
Prof. Uba, a renowned academic and pediatric surgeon, is affiliated with the University of Jos, Plateau State.
He hails from Ohimini local government area of Benue State and belongs to the Idoma ethnic group.
An accomplished clinician and scholar, Prof Uba specialises in managing complex surgical conditions in children.
He brings a wealth of experience and a robust academic profile, with 87 peer-reviewed publications and over 1,100 citations.
