In a fresh bid to achieve enhanced workers productivity by creating conducive workplace environment, Lagos State chapter of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has embarked on the raising of N50 million appeal fund for developmental projects and pharmaceutical research, in Lagos.
In a chat with LEADERSHIP Sunday during the fundraising which took place in GRA, Lagos, the national president, PSN, Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim, noted that the planned centre will act as a base that will be suitable for creation of direct and indirect jobs when completed.
And on his part, the chairman of PSN, Lagos State chapter, Babayemi Oyekunle, during his chat with LEADERSHIP after his presentation, reemphasising the statement of PSN President, noting when completed the research centre will lead to direct and indirect jobs.
Oyekunle described the N50 million appeal fund as a planned action to boost more research that will create better healthcare in the state.
Oyekunle reassured PSN’s commitment to defending its members’ rights and called for equity, professionalism, and the strict adherence to lawful processes in healthcare administration.
Likewise, the Speaker of Lagos House of Assembly, Honourable Mudashiru Obasa who was represented by Honourable Lawal Aina Musibau, at the event commended the PSN for its pivotal roles daily healthcare delivering.
