The quartet of Wikki Tourists of Bauchi, Yobe Desert Stars of Damaturu, Doma FC of Gombe and newcomers Barau FC of Kano have qualified for the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8.

Wikki landed in the Super 8 in style beating Zamfara United by 4-1 on Sunday to seal their spot, while Barau FC secured their ticket after holding Mighty Jet to a goalless draw away.

Wikki finished top of Conference C with 23 points while Barau came second with 19 points. The heavy defeat suffered by Zamfara United against Wikki saw them bidding bye to NNL as they finished at the bottom of the log. Though they finished on the same points with Jigawa, the later survived courtesy of a superior goals difference.

Yobe Desert booked their place in the Super 8 following a 1-0 home win against Basira in a keenly contested battle.

The home win saw Yobe top the Conference D table with 20 points while Doma finished second with 19 points.

Despite fighting doggedly till the end Kebbi missed the Super 8 narrowly. Kebbi secured a 2-1 away victory over Sporting Supreme a result that failed to catapult them to the Super 8 as they ended the season with 18 points.
