The Presidential Call for Advanced Nigeria (PCAN) campaign has called on Nigerians across all divides to embrace peace, unity, and a collective sense of purpose in building a prosperous and inclusive nation.
Speaking at the campaign’s launch in Abuja, the convener, Ambassador (Prince) Jeffrey S. Adaralegbe, emphasised the need for renewed patriotism and national consciousness anchored on cultural diversity, mutual respect, and national development.

“Fellow Nigerians, we must remind ourselves of our journey—from colonial rule to independence in 1960, through civil strife and military regimes, to our present democratic dispensation. “Despite our challenges, the factors of unity, peace, and prosperity must remain our guiding principles,” Adaralegbe stated.
The campaign, themed “Presidential Call for Advanced Nigeria (Collective Responsibility)”, is a Social Orientation Campaign Project (SOCAP) aimed at reengineering public perception and rekindling hope in a united, functional Nigeria.

Highlighting the initiative’s goals, Adaralegbe said the project seeks to promote inter-ethnic harmony, cultural dialogue, and a sense of belonging among all Nigerians, both at home and in the diaspora.

“We urge the media to spotlight stories of unity and inter-ethnic cooperation, while also calling on law enforcement agencies and government bodies to act with impartiality and fairness to all citizens, regardless of cultural background,” he said.

According to him, the campaign will deploy mass communication, psychological liberation, and ideological mobilisation tools to inspire moral, cultural, and geopolitical alignment across faiths and regions.

“Our vision is to see Nigeria advance into a nation of global leadership. Our mission is to remain the most admired advocates of Nigeria’s advancement and achievement,” Adaralegbe declared.

The campaign concluded with a rousing call to action: “Let us together answer the call—to be patriotic ambassadors for peace and unity, and to believe in the possibility of a truly advanced Nigeria.”
