Team FCT has recorded an impressive performance at the ongoing 22nd National Sports Festival (NSF), tagged ‘Gateway Games 2024’, in Abeokuta Ogun State. At the conclusion of Day 5 of the competition, the team proudly secured an impressive total of 12 medals.
The tally for Team FCT includes 4 Gold Medals — with notable victories in Ayo (2), Golf (1), and Wushu Kung Fu (1) — alongside 5 Silver Medals, 4 of which were earned in Weightlifting and 1 in an undisclosed event. Additionally, the team has garnered 3 Bronze Medals, achieved in Taekwondo, Beach Volleyball, and Weightlifting, respectively.
As numerous sporting events were still ahead, Team FCT approaches the remainder of the festival games with optimism and ambition to enhance their medal count.
