Military authorities confirmed the feat on Friday morning, where it disclosed that the intense battle resulted in neutralising at least 60 terrorists, while others retreated with gunshot injuries.

According to the Acting Deputy Director Operation Hadin Kai, Captain Reuben Kovangiya, the terrorists struck in the village at night but met their Waterloo as troops responded to them swiftly.
