The group, while revealing the result to journalists in Osogbo, explained that it contains survey results from the nine federal constituencies making up the state, with a focus on citizens’ voting preferences.

In his speech, the lead consultant, Dr. Adeyemo Adeyefa, stated that the first of the four surveys contained three questions on preferred party, candidate, and reasons for choice of preference.

The group said the respondents included five thousand residents per federal constituency, for a total of 45,000, and the survey was conducted from April 20th to May 20th, 2025.

Adeyefa disclosed that 65 per cent of respondents opted for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), 25 per cent for the All Progressives Congress (APC), while other parties shared 10 per cent.

On preferred candidate, Adeleke got 66 per cent, while the other six candidates named in the survey shared 34 per cent. Eighty per cent of respondents based their choice on the candidate’s performance, 11 per cent on party affiliation, and nine per cent on other considerations.

His words: “This is the first part in the series of four type surveys on Osun politics and governance. We work with some academics from the University of Ilesa to ensure accuracy with minimal margin of error”.

While commending their workers and experts, the group submitted that the other three survey results will be issued one after the other when carried out.
