Accurate and timely data is crucial for transparency and efficiency in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.

With the recognition of this, the Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) has endorsed Petroleumprice.ng as a leading platform that provides real-time pricing and industry information, reinforcing the importance of reliable data in supporting informed decision-making across the market.

National president of PETROAN, Dr. Billy Gillis-Harry, while announcing the endorsement, emphasised that the association, after thorough evaluation, recognised the platform’s exceptional role in providing reliable daily and weekly updates on fuel prices—including Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), diesel, kerosene, and LPG—from major depots nationwide.

He said that the platform’s ability to track regional price trends and offer verified market intelligence empowers marketers, station owners, fleet operators, and consumers to make cost-effective and timely decisions in a dynamic market environment.

The platform also allows users to track regional price trends and make cost-effective procurement decisions.

PETROAN’s collaboration with Petroleumprice.ng marks a step toward improving data reliability and digital transformation in the downstream sector.

“The endorsement confirms the platform’s significant contribution to empowering stakeholders with reliable, timely data and innovative digital solutions,” Gillis-Harry said.

The collaboration between PETROAN and the pricing platform represents a significant step toward enhancing data reliability and driving digital transformation in Nigeria’s petroleum downstream sector. Accurate data access is essential for mitigating price volatility, improving supply chain transparency, and fostering trust among stakeholders. As Dr. Gillis-Harry stated, the platform “embodies the transparency and technological innovation our industry needs.”

CEO of the platform, Olatide Jeremiah, expressed gratitude for the endorsement and reaffirmed the mission to transform the sector through dependable pricing intelligence, expert market analysis, and a secure digital marketplace that supports efficiency and trust.
