Gonerit Alumni Elect New Officials

Gonerit Memorial Collage Old Students Association (GONOSA) Tuwan in Kanke local government area of Plateau State  has elected new executives to pilot its affairs  for the next two years.

The officials were elected and sworn in during the association’s national convention held in Jos yesterday.

The outgoing president of the association, Mr. Gideon Poki, highlighted his stewardship and appealed for continuous support for the new leadership.

The chairman of the electoral committee, Reverend Kefas Dawit, described the election as peaceful and transparent.

He urged the new officials to justify the confidence reposed in them by carrying everybody along.

The new president and former chairman, Transition Implementation Committee of Kanke Hon.   Caleb Shikir, promised to come up with initiatives that would take the association to higher heights and solicited the support of members.

Those elected are Musa Shirimbu,Vice President, Maxwell Obosco, Secretary and Shangji Zumshimwa as Financial Secretary.

Others are, Abigail Bigwan,Treasurer,Shilli Yilleng, Assistant Secretary,Panshak Bauta,Auditor, Rottin Gowal, Director of Socials while Yibis Iliya is the Public Relations.
