The vice chairman of LEADERSHIP Group Limited, Chief Mike Okpere and the director of special projects, Mr Abdulkulunin Balogun, have paid a courtesy visit to the management of Dangote Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited (DPAN).

Speaking shortly after a facility tour of the company, during which the Managing Director Ibrahim Issa Gachi took time to acquaint the LEADERSHIP management with the company’s operations, Chief Okpere commended the DPAN management for the feat achieved within a short period and urged it to sustain the tempo.

He said, “DPAN has done so much that the public needs to know what you are doing, and LEADERSHIP is willing and ready to provide such a platform.

“We will suggest the possibility of a partnership that will impact sales and awareness. The organisation is forward-thinking about future expansion by acquiring large tracts of land.

“We have visited and seen, with pleasant surprise, how far the company has come. Let me congratulate the company for coming this far.”

Chief Okpere thereafter presented the LEADERSHIP Titles to the DPAN management and assured the MD of the newspaper company’s readiness to help promote the automobile company’s activities in a mutually beneficial partnership.

Earlier in his presentation, shortly after the facility tour, the managing director disclosed that DPAN was incorporated in 2018 and commenced operations in 2022 on an acquired plot of 19.33 hectares of land, 4.36 hectares of which are currently being utilised.

He further disclosed that DPAN is owned by Dangote, Kaduna and Kebbi states and Planet Automobile France, adding that presently the firm assembles products ranging from the 5008 SUV, 3008 SUV, Peugeot Land Trek and pickups, Peugeot Boxer ambulance, Peugeot Rifter ambulance and Peugeot Partner ambulance.

The managing director of DPAN, while commending LEADERSHIP management for the visit, also assured that they will be open to any discussion that will benefit both parties now and in the future.
