Former vice chancellor of Covenant University and a member of the QNET Scientific Advisory Board, Professor Abiodun Adebayo, has raised the alarm over the health risks associated with prolonged exposure to electromagnetic radiation (EMR) from mobile phones and digital devices, linking it to symptoms such as fatigue, anxiety, headaches, and even red blood cell damage.

Presenting findings during the QNET Science Dialogue held at the university, Professor Abiodun Adebayo, who disclosed this at the QNET Science Dialogue, in Ogun state, explained that common devices like smartphones, routers, and wireless earbuds emit significant levels of radiation capable of disrupting biological functions.

“Using an electrosmog meter, we measured radiation near a powered router, it was in the red zone. Once we turned off the router, the reading dropped to the green zone, confirming how pervasive radiation exposure has become in our daily lives,” Adebayo averred.

Meanwhile, the QNET Amezcua e-Guard has emerged as a timely innovation in an age of increasing dependence on mobile phones, wireless networks, and smart devices, Adebayo asserted, adding that,

“Designed to offer protection against electromagnetic radiation, the e-Guard functions as a small, attachable device that neutralizes the harmful frequencies emitted by electronic gadgets. With the rise of 4G and 5G technologies, known for their high-frequency radiation, the e-Guard provides a science-backed solution for mitigating everyday exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs).”

During a recent presentation at Covenant University, researchers showcased compelling evidence of the e-Guard’s effectiveness. In one experiment, the blood of a 24-year-old male was analyzed after just 30 minutes of phone use.

Without the e-Guard, his red blood cells showed signs of clumping and distortion, which are early indicators of oxidative stress. When the e-Guard was applied to the phone, the red blood cells remained healthy and separate, demonstrating the product’s potential to preserve biological integrity under radiation exposure.

“Beyond laboratory results, the e-Guard supports long-term wellness for people who rely heavily on digital devices for work, study, and communication. Its five-year lifespan makes it a practical and durable preventive measure, especially for adults in urban environments where EMFs are concentrated. While not a replacement for medical care, the QNET Amezcua e-Guard is a critical tool for reducing silent health threats associated with modern technology,” Prof stated.
