Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria has commiserated with Kogi State House of Assembly over fire incident that engulfed its complex.
In a sympathy message sent to Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole on Monday, the Chairman of the Conference and Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman expressed shock over the incident.
According to sympathy message issued to journalists in Bauchi by Abdul Ahmad Burra, media aide Speaker of Bauchi House Assembly, called on relevant authorities to launch an investigation to unravel the cause of the fire disaster with a view to forestalling its recurrence and prosecuting any culprits who may have been responsible.
While sending the sympathy of the Conference of Speakers, the Chairman prays against reoccurrence of the unfortunate incident.
