Following the successful conferment of the award of the International Eminent Peace Ambassador on Okpara Obinna in an event that took place during the 7th Anniversary of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals at Akwa Ibom State to mark the 2022 Global Week. Okpara Obinna recipient of the award in order to further his humanitarian gesture, has donated note and text books to two schools, All Saints Primary and Nursery School, Akokwa, Imo State and Community Primary School, Matogun, Ogun State.
Speaking at the book presentation to both schools Amb. Okpara Obinna said that the best gift he can give to any child is education hence the award conferred on him will be to better the lots of the less privillaged children in his state.
The international Spokesman of the association, Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke commended the donation. He described Amb. Obinna Okpara as an asset and said since his award till date, he has shown serious concern and dedication to uplifting the sufferings of Nigerians not only from his state of Imo but to other parts of Nigeria.
Earlier Amb. Obinna Opkara dedicated his award of Eminent Peace Ambassador to God Almighty and his family promising to expend the good deeds of his father when he was alive. “My late father had a lot of goodwill when he was alive. It is my ernest desire to continue with it and the Eminent Peace Ambassador award will help this aspiration of mine succeed” he said.
The Head Teachers of both schools applauded the donation saying that since the beginning their schools no Nigerian has shown this type of kind gesture let alone by visiting them in person and been accompanied by an international organization that has promised to being them to the United Nations Scientific and Cultural Organization.
One of the community leader in Akokwa while receiving the books on behalf of the school and by way of appreciation said that Amb. Obinna Okpara is a complete replica of his father whose foot prints has stood the test of time. He promised that the school will make good use of the writing materials and the text books to the advantage of each student.
The International Association of World Peace Advocates is a world organization that promotes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals world-wide. It is an organization that has provided certificate of international affiliation to Obinna Okpara Family Care Initiative an NGO now with full certification recognized for helping humanity.
