2 Rescued From Collapsed Building In Oyo

The Oyo State Fire Services Agency has rescued two persons who were trapped under a collapsed building at Ruby’s Court Estate, behind Saint Anne’s School, Olorunsogo, Molete in Ibadan.

General Manager of the agency, Akinyemi Akinyinka who confirmed the incident, said the collapse was reported at 1:53pm on Tuesday through a telephone call that a building under construction had collapsed.

Akinyinka said the agency’s personnel led by ACFS Adekola (Mrs), promptly deployed to the scene of the incident where they discovered that a storey building under construction had collapsed with two persons trapped under the rubble.

 

“The two male persons were rescued alive and the one that sustain serious injury was taken to nearby hospital,” the general manager said.
