The change of date from the earlier July 1 to July 3 to September is to enable wide participation.

The event coordinator and president of African Legacy International Media Services Ltd, Engr. Innocent Ogu, who announced the new arrangement, added that the decision to postpone it to September 23–25, 2025, was reached at a strategic meeting with the Body of a
Ambassadors for the expo.

He said the venue remains unchanged, and all earlier arrangements with vendors, participants, and government agencies would be honoured and realigned with the new date.

Ogu told journalists in Abuja that the meeting culminated in a consensus to shift the date in order to strengthen the event’s global visibility, deepen stakeholders’ engagement, and enhance international participation.

He said, “This rescheduling is not a setback but a strategic advancement. We are prioritising excellence, inclusiveness, and international reach. By giving ourselves additional time, we can consolidate partnerships, ramp up publicity efforts, and ensure a more inclusive environment for investors, exhibitors, and trade visitors from across the world.”

The expo is a flagship international trade platform designed to spotlight investment opportunities across Africa.

It aims to foster direct linkages between public and private sectors’ players, both locally and globally.
Engr Ogu said the expo has received significant interest from over 40 countries, including stakeholders in energy, agriculture, technology, manufacturing, and culture-based industries.

He reassured all participants that the Organising Committee remained committed to delivering a world-class experience, with upgraded logistics, enriched content, and robust diplomatic and media participation.

Ogu Urges ministries, agencies, state governments, and corporate partners to continue their preparations and mobilisations as the new dates offer greater opportunities for strategic alignment.

“We deeply appreciate the understanding and support of all our partners and stakeholders. This is a call to action to even double our efforts in showcasing Africa’s industrial strength, commercial viability, and cultural heritage to the world,” he concluded.
