Abubakar refused to come down from the billboard unless famous TikToker Abdul BK was brought before him.

The incident on Monday caused commotion, drawing a huge crowd of onlookers and disrupted traffic for several hours.

According to a short post on his Facebook page, the Command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa said Abubakar was arraigned before a Magistrate Court on Friday.

“He was arraigned before Magistrate Court No. 5 in Gyadi-Gyadi, Kano, on charges of attempting to take his own life,” Kiyawa said.

LEADERSHIP reports that Abubakar was rushed to the Police hospital in Bompai on Monday after he was rescued by authorities, to receive treatment before his arraignment on Friday.
