Southampton announced recently that they have approved Onuachu’s transfer to the Turkish side.
The Nigerian international spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Trabzonspor, where he scored 15 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions.
The 31-year-old is leaving Southampton after a two-and-a-half-year stint at St Mary’s Stadium, having joined from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk in January 2023. During his time with the Saints, he scored four goals in 36 league outings.
