“There are plethora of impacts of this, hence people need to start stepping up about arts. This also has great economic value. Once we start the conversation on why it is important to acquire arts, then the people will start getting interested and this will boost the economy.

“It is an incredible tool to give top attention to the Arts sector because it will make the youths become better people and we are keen to being at the center of conversation of arts and culture around the State and Nigeria at large.”

Speaking at the event, one of the participants, Bright Basutor, stated that arts industry should be taken seriously and given prime attention as a national and state priority.

Basutor, who is also a photographer, called on government at all levels to put necessary infrastructure in place to develop the citizen’s natural talents, get them engaged to enable them become part of the key drivers of economic growth.

He regretted that the sector was being neglected despite amazing talents among the youths.
